STRUCTECH 3D MODELLING (Pty) Ltd is an Engineering Drawing Office practice, operating from Durban, South Africa, offering a structural steel detailing and design service to the Steel Fabrication and Construction industry, and to Consulting Engineers and Architectural practices. The company was originally founded by Dan Pillay, and has a collective total of more than 60 years experience of its partners in the Structural Steel Detailing industry.

We produce workshop detail drawings using Tekla Structures 3D modelling software, primarily, as a modelling and drawing tool. Three dimensional models of structures are created, allowing Clients to view visually the various elements of their design. We specialise in structures for the Sugar Industry, Shopping Centres, Commercial Warehouses, Airport Buildings, Petro-Chemical Industry, Architecturally Designed Structures. Our strength has been providing an accurate, reliable service that meets deadlines , based on sound Engineering principles and practice. This has allowed us to build a strong working relationship with our Clientele, and has proven to be the basis of our longevity and existence in a very demanding and competitive industry.
